Fun Times!

The kids were super excited to have been surprised by Emma and Kadin's visit today! (I hadn't told either of them) When I saw them pull up, I said "Juliana, look who's here!" She ran to the door, saw who it was through the window, swung it open and shouted "COME ON IN!" while pulling Emma over to her toys :-) We played with all kinds of toys, then they headed outside for some fun in the sun (we were so thankful for the wonderful weather!). They rode bikes on the court, played on the swings, shelled & ate peanuts, and picked tomatoes (Juliana ate hers right off the vine, but Emma saved hers for her mom). We headed back inside for more indoor playtime, then it was time to get Jacob off the bus! They were so excited to do that, and they got to pick beautiful yellow flowers while we waited (dandelions of course!). Jacob was surprised to see them, didn't say a word and RAN to the house - but the LOOK on his face was "ALRIGHT! I HAVE FRIENDS TO PLAY WITH!!! COME ON!" So they all ran after him and played in pure delight :-) Then off to a rather loud and entertaining lunch time ;-) And back outside they went! Lots more bike riding, swinging, running and laughing! We then headed back inside and they headed upstairs for the first time of the day!!! They found Juliana's pink sleeping bag and Jacob's treasure chest, so it was off to the master bedroom for CAMPING! (and Jacob & Emma turned on Caillou) Kadin had fun going up and down the bunkbed ladder in Juliana's room and pushing the little stroller around :-) Anywho, super fun day and great weather to boot!
