So tonight at dinner, Jacob told us that this is the Mean House. Why did he call it that? Because Mommy & Daddy are always mean to Jacob & Juliana of course! How are we mean? "Because we don't eat our food and you get mad." Yes, I must confess, Matt & I are convicted, he got it spot on, we get very annoyed that our kids don't eat their dinner and we have to tell them to eat each and every bite, one by one by one...and after a few years, our temper grows short and we more quickly tell them to EAT YOUR FOOD!!! What awful parents we are... ;-)

Although we don't have that every night....we definitely have our nights. Usually it's Isabella. She just has no attention span to be at the table right now. Just wants to get up and walk around for no reason. So lately, ours is "Sit down please. Eat your dinner." You're not alone!!

It is so nice to hear that we aren't the only "mean" parents around. That is a daily battle for us, too! Good times...
